Studies prove the healing qualities of cartilage
against a variety of difficult skin ailments!

In 1958, Dr. John F. Prudden, a former associate professor of surgery at Columbia University's Presbyterian Hospital in New York, developed a topical cream made with calf cartilage extract.  Dr. Prudden found that the extract, which he called Catrix, helped in the healing of stubborn topical wounds like varicose ulcers and post phlebitis ulcers.

Dr. Prudden discovered the anti-inflammatory properties of his bovine cartilage accidentally when he applied it to an ulcer on the leg of a man who also had psoriasis.  Amazingly, both skin problems healed rapidly!

'cartilage produces a more intense healing response
under normal circumstances than any other substance'

Dr. Prudden continued to experiment with cartilage, successfully using it for the treatment of a long list of ailments including the following: acne, poison ivy and its itch, anal fissures, poison oak and its itch, hemorrhoids ...

Early studies with bovine cartilage focused on its ability to encourage healing in non-healing wounds, a common problem after surgery and cortisone treatment.  In the 1950s the Journal of Pathology, volume 32, page 979, published a paper on the subject called 'The Effect of Cartilage and Other Tissue Suspensions on Reparative Processes of Cortisone Treated Animals.'

The paper presented data that suggested cartilage produces a more intense healing response under normal circumstances than any other substance.  Many other studies on the benefits of cartilage followed.  Research has proven that cartilage has the following biological activities:

1.  It acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent, while accelerating the healing of tissues

2.  It enhances antibody production, which aids immune response

3.  Because it inhibits the formation of new blood vessels in solid tumors, it has a powerful anti-tumor/cancer effect."

'Attogram links naturally derived elements to
produce a truly effective skin cream ... Biolanyn'

Both cartilage and skin rely upon a vast connective tissue component for their integrity. They have many common biochemical constituents in their structure - collagen, silicon, chondroitin sulfates, hyaluronic acid, zinc, vitamin C, glucosamine, and many others.

'Biolanyn (formerly named Cafcart), a bovine cartilage
skin cream, saturates damaged skin with the building
blocks necessary for rapid connective tissue repair.'

A chronology:
This concept of using animal parts to heal related human tissues has been with us since the ancient beginnings of health care.  The papyrus of Eber discusses preparations manufactured from animal organs.  In the Materia Medica of Aristotle and Pliny the Elder there are allusions to extracts of organs used in medical therapy.  Eastern medicine, going back to the Yellow Emperor's Handbook, discusses the use of placenta as a tonic.  At the beginning of the 16th century, Paracelsus taught that the heart heals the heart, the kidney the kidney, etc.

American Indians ate the raw liver from fresh-killed buffalo.  They knew that this was more beneficial than cooked meat.  Heat destroys nutrients.  For example, collagen, being a protein, is denatured above 50°C (120°F).  This is the reason that the Biolanyn cream is cold-processed, and then brought up to room temperature.

Modern medical techniques have made it possible for beef tissue preparations to be injected into the human blood stream.  This has provided much greater benefit than the same preparation taken by mouth since the nutrients are transported directly to the problem area through the bloodstream.

Because skin is on the outside of the body, the application of Biolanyn cream behaves much as an injection in that the therapeutic benefits become more apparent quickly.  In fact, if there is no improvement in one(1) to twenty-one(21) days** then it is unlikely that there will be any at all.  Fortunately such failures are infrequent!

** Editors note: Many users report positive effects in just a matter of hours!

Feeding your skin:
The health of our skin is highly dependent upon its ability to rebuild and repair itself.   It can do this only if it has access to ALL the required raw materials in the proper ratio at the proper time.

'the conditions of modern life are not kind to the skin'

Unfortunately, the conditions of modern life are not kind to the skin.  Our diets - often low in fiber and high in refined carbohydrates, dairy products and meats - generate toxins which are shunted to the skin for elimination.  This constant poisoning wreaks havoc on the normal nutrient balance of the skin.  Biochemical reactions occur with greater strain and less abundantly, nutrient/waste exchanges between cells and blood are hindered, energy intended to be used for skin regeneration is depleted in attempts to eliminate the toxins.  Modern emotional stresses, inadequate exercise and growing environmental pollution further complicate the problem.

Attogram encourages the user of Biolanyn to rid their body and living environment of the toxins that are often the cause of their skin condition.
